Discord forum post mover
There is no native way to move a Discord forum post. Open the post, right-click the first message, then Apps, then Move. Pick the destination forum and choose All below. Pippin creates a new post there with every reply, keeps authors, avatars, media, and reactions, and applies a required tag if that forum needs one.
No. Discord has no move action for a forum post. Copying the text drops the author, the attachments, and the reactions. Pippin is the move: one context-menu command, Apps → Move, on the first message of the post.
Pick the destination forum and choose All below. Pippin creates a new post. The disclaimer is the starter: original author, timestamp, and a jump link to the source. Every reply follows, still showing its author.
The destination does not have to be a forum. A text channel receives the messages flat, or you can wrap them in a new public or private thread. An existing thread or forum post can receive them too.
Choose Apps → Move. Starting on the first message is what lets All below capture the starter and every reply.
Search for it, or paste a Discord link. The same picker accepts a thread or a channel if the post should leave the forum.
Pippin previews the last message in the range so you can see that the whole post is included, up to 200 messages in one run.
Review move shows the cost. After the move, Pippin asks whether to keep the original. If you do not answer, it keeps it. If the whole post moved and you choose delete, Pippin can remove that post.
How Pippin helps
Each reply keeps the original author's server nickname and avatar. Attachments, GIFs, and links stay. Embeds are copied. Emoji reactions are recreated.
Source forum tags are not carried over. If the destination forum requires a tag, Pippin applies the first available tag so the post can be created. Change it afterwards if you need a different one. A new post starts with a disclaimer naming the original author, the timestamp, and a link back to the source.
A move pings members who were @mentioned in the original message bodies. Otherwise no one is pinged.
Replies stay in order. Discord does not let a bot recreate reply links, so those become ordinary messages in that order.
The starter plus every reply counts. Creating the new post can add one extra move. The free plan includes 300 moves per month.
A longer post takes a second run, starting where the first one stopped.
