Privacy policy
Pippin The Mover ("we", "our", or "us") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Discord bot and related services. By using Pippin The Mover, you consent to the practices described below.
Information We Collect And Process
Discord Information
- Server IDs: Collected to identify the servers where Pippin The Mover is active.
- User IDs and Basic Profile Information: Processed to provide the service and, if applicable, manage subscriptions; stored only as necessary and not retained for free‑tier users beyond the active session. For paid users, we may store limited internal metadata (e.g., server ID) in Stripe subscription/customer records for operational purposes; no message content is stored in Stripe.
- Message Content: Temporarily processed when you use bot commands (e.g., moving messages). Message content is immediately discarded after execution and not stored.
- Roles and Permissions: Used to enable proper bot functionality.
Website and Account Information
- Authentication Tokens: Used for Discord login and account management.
- Usage Analytics & Metrics (only if you allow analytics cookies): page views, clicks, and session recordings, used to improve the site. If you are not signed in, these are not linked to your identity. If you are signed in, we link them to your Discord account ID, name, and email address.
- Browser Data & IP Addresses: May be collected for security, performance monitoring, and fraud prevention.
- Cookies & Consent Data: Used to manage login sessions, preferences, analytics, and, with your consent, ad measurement.
How We Use Your Information

- Provide, maintain, and improve our services
- Manage subscriptions and process payments
- Ensure security, prevent fraud, and enforce policies
- Communicate with you about your account or services

Cookies and Tracking
We sort cookies into three groups. Only essential cookies run before you choose. Analytics and marketing cookies run only after you allow them in the cookie banner.
Essential cookies
Always on
Keep you signed in with Discord, protect sign-in from forged requests, and remember your cookie choice.
- next-auth session and CSRF cookies
- pippin.gg, Up to 30 days
- pippin-cookie-consent (local storage)
- pippin.gg, 12 months
Analytics cookies
Only if you allow analytics
Show us which pages help and where people get stuck: page views, clicks, and session recordings that replay how you moved through the site. Text you type into form fields is masked. If you are signed in, these events are linked to your Discord account. Requests go through pippin.gg/ingest.
- ph_<project>_posthog
- PostHog, 12 months
Marketing cookies
Only if you allow marketing
Measure which Google and Meta ads bring visitors to Pippin. Without your consent these scripts do not load at all.
- _gcl_au
- Google Ads, 90 days
- test_cookie (doubleclick.net)
- Google Ads, About 15 minutes
- _fbp
- Meta Pixel, 90 days
Your choices
You choose in the banner on your first visit. To change or withdraw your choice, open (also in the footer of every page). Withdrawing takes effect right away: the analytics and marketing tags stop sending data. Cookies they already set stay in your browser until they expire or you clear them in your browser settings.
We ask again after 12 months, or sooner if we add a new type of cookie.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Data may be shared only with:
- Payment Processors (Stripe): payments and subscriptions are handled via Stripe; we may store limited internal metadata in Stripe subscription/customer records for operational purposes. Stripe stores and processes this data per its Privacy Policy. We minimize metadata and do not include message content or sensitive categories.
- PostHog, for product analytics, only if you allow analytics cookies (Privacy Policy)
- Google and Meta, for ad measurement, only if you allow marketing cookies (Google Privacy Policy, Meta Privacy Policy)
- Legal Authorities (when required by law)
Data Retention
- Message content is not stored beyond the duration of command execution
- Other data is retained only as long as necessary for business, legal, or security purposes
- Billing and payment data may be retained by Stripe to comply with financial and legal obligations

We implement appropriate technical and organizational safeguards to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your information.
