Movr alternative
Pippin is a free Movr alternative: its free plan includes cross-server moves and moving a message's attached thread. Servers that add Movr since 24 October 2026 get those only on Plus ($4.99/month) or Pro ($9.99/month), and Movr Free is 250 messages a month. Pippin Free has every feature, including forum posts and private threads, with 300 moves a month plus 1,000 bonus moves to start. Servers that already had Movr keep it free and unlimited.

Free is $0 with 250 messages a month and a one-time 500-message welcome bonus. Plus is $4.99 a month with 1,500 messages, cross-server moves and attached-thread moves. Pro is $9.99 a month with unlimited messages. You subscribe in Movr's Store in Discord, on desktop or web, and assign the plan to one server with /premium assign. The subscription belongs to the buyer's account and can move to another server no more than once every 7 days. /premium status shows the messages left.

Movr and Pippin both move messages and keep the author's name and avatar. The right pick depends on when your server added a bot and what you need to move.
Free, every feature included: 300 moves a month, plus 1,000 bonus moves to start. The monthly moves reset at midnight UTC on the 1st. /move_status shows your usage.
One move covers one message, plus one for a new thread or forum post. A 40-reply thread costs 41 moves, or 42 if Pippin creates a new thread.
Booster packs and paid plans cover bigger jobs.

Pippin has to be in the source server and the target server.
Start in the source server, on the first message you want to move.
Pippin replies with a /move-link secret:… command. Run it in the target server from the same account. It works once and expires in 13 minutes.
Pick the channel, then Just this, All below, or a Custom range.
Check the summary before Pippin copies anything.
Choose Delete originals to make it a move, or Keep originals to keep it a copy.
The source channel needs View Channel, Read Message History and Manage Messages. The source server pays: one move per message, plus one for a new thread or post. Mentions in cross-server copies don't ping anyone.
Right-click the first message, choose Apps → Move, then All below. The destination can be a new thread, a new forum post, flat channel messages, or an existing thread or post. Private threads work the same way.
Add Pippin with the Add to Discord button. You don't need a setup dashboard to start moving.
Pippin needs View Channel, Read Message History, Manage Messages and Manage Webhooks. It doesn't need Administrator.
If your server is grandfathered on Movr, don't remove Movr just to try Pippin. Run both.
Moveer moves people between voice channels, which is a different bot from Movr. People mix up the names.
How Pippin helps
Each message keeps the author's nickname and avatar.
Attachments, embeds and reactions come along, in the original order.
Threads, forum posts and private threads work as a source and a destination within a server.
In-server moves only ping members @mentioned in the original message bodies. Cross-server copies ping nobody.
Movr has undo, a per-server audit log and reaction-triggered moves. Pippin doesn't offer these.
Reply links and pins aren't kept. Pippin asks before deleting originals, and a delete can't be undone.
